Turbo Dash guide: from your first flip to your first aerial
Updated · 2 minute read
To hit an aerial in Turbo Dash, jump, tilt the nose up while you're in the air, then hold boost towards the ball. Flight School teaches it in six short steps; practise the rest in free play with no clock.
Flight School's six steps
- 1Find your wheels: drive left and right with A and D, or the floating stick.
- 2Leave the ground: press Space or the Jump button.
- 3Put a spin on it: jump again while steering to flip.
- 4Light it up: hold Shift or the Boost button. The tank refills when you let go.
- 5Catch some air: tilt up while you're in the air, then boost towards the ball.
- 6Bring it home: hit the ball into a goal.
Walls and ceiling
Your wheels grip the floor, the curved walls and the ceiling as long as you have speed. Drive up the wall to meet a high ball instead of waiting under it. Slow down on the ceiling and you drop off.
Flips
Your second jump, with the stick tilted, becomes a flip in that direction, and a flip hits the ball much harder than driving into it. Flip into the ball when you're close; drive when you're lining up.
Boost
Boost pushes the car wherever its nose points, which is why tilting first matters in the air. It refills by itself when you're not using it, so short bursts beat holding it down until it's empty.
Doubles
- Don't both chase the ball. One goes, one stays back and covers the goal.
- Swap roles after every touch: whoever just hit the ball drops back.
- Use the preset quick-chat phrases to call it.
The last seconds
A ball still in the air when the clock hits zero plays on until it lands, so a last-second shot can still count. A tie goes to golden goal: the next goal wins.
Questions

- A and D drive, W and S tilt, Space jumps and flips, and Left Shift boosts. A second player uses the arrow keys, Enter and Right Shift. On a phone there's a stick with Jump and Boost buttons.
- Does my car choice matter?

- Where can I practise?
- Free play has no clock, and Flight School walks you through each move.
