How to play Volley Clash
- 1
Move, jump and dash. Holding jump longer jumps higher, and the dash works once in each jump.
- 2
You don't press a button to hit: where the ball meets your body decides where it goes. Off the top of your head it goes up, off your side it goes across.
- 3
You can only spike in the air. Come down onto the ball from above to send it down fast.
- 4
The ball touching the sand scores for the other side. The side that lost the point serves, and the first touch after a serve gets extra power.
- 5
First to 7 wins by default. The host can pick 5, 7 or 11 points, and turn on win-by-two.
Ways to play
- Solo
- You against the bot.
- Couch
- Two players on one keyboard.
- Online 1v1
- Two players on the standard court.
- Online 2v2
- Four players on a wider court. Teammates pass through each other instead of bumping.
Characters
Eight characters, three free and the rest bought with coins earned by playing. They are skins only: no character moves, jumps or hits differently, so every match is decided by who reads the ball better.
Tips
- Watch where the ball will land, not where it is now.
- A dash into the ball in the air is a spike, and a dash to the ball on the ground is a save.
- After losing a point, use your serve: the first touch is the strongest of the rally.
